Title: RhB control trailer Ait 578
Post by: trainmaster on July 21, 2018, 08:33:32 PM
Hi Folks!
I'm a much better modelbuilder (body) then a electrician or electronic worker ;D.  But I need all, maybee from third party... My new project is to transfer a motor coach (ALLEGRA) in a controll trailer (ALVRA) type Ait 578. Scale IIm (G). As a sugarpiece will follow the whole traincomposition with total seven coaches... How many years in wood work on it? Let's see...

That sample picture looks very nice. This will become a beautiful train.
Electrical and electronics is easy, it all works with smoke, when the smoke has escaped its broken.  :peep:

Yup, and if you can't fix it with a hammer, the fault is electrical...

At the time I prepare the drawings for the 3D printer. The definitive drawings (i not do not have such a 3D program) came from a friend in Germany, the printing is local. In fact, there are only some STL data to transfer by email...
There are many parts and sections who can be printed, form parts there are not available on the spare part market. LGB (Maerklin) don't produce spare parts anymore!
Cheers
