Hi everybody,
ever heard of ORANGUTAN MODELS?
I have just been given a 2 rail DC Loco and 2 coaches. (Family visit from China.)
Its Chinese prototype, looks very nice, nice detail.
Coaches have Led lights already fitted. :thumb:
Tried the Loco on a piece of flex track with my Märklin Z scale controller that gives of a max 8 volts.
Very smooth and quiet operation, I am really impressed.
Will have to go and visit Willie one day and let it run on his Karoo Layout.
Some photo's.

There is a website as well.
www.lyxxmx.com
Its in Chinese so besides looking at pictures not much use.
I foresee my wife having to do lots of translating duties in the future. >:D
The boxed the models come in are also very nice and sturdy.

You could have brought these along yesterday, you know :stir: :peep:
Looks like stunning models. What are the prices like? I know was a gift, but I'm wondering as these look like similar quality as the big German companies detail wise. One must never forget - 95% of all model trains are made in China. Prototype trains in China also improved tremendously the last 20-30 years!
Will need to come check them out...

Three more coaches are on there way to me. ;D
Unfortunately the dining car was sold out.
I see a visit to Willie in the near future.
