Surfing last night I came across this chap.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJmvQx-fe0OMAIH-_g-_rZw
Look for his video where he demonstrates FULL AUTO where trains are at random selected to go onto the tracks, waiting for tracks to clear...amazing.
Using Arduino and a motor shield he made a FULL DCC system.
Wrote all the code to run this stuff...even in full automatic mode.
Since I play a little with Arduino and went onto eBay and ordered some motor shields :thumb:
Hier kom moeilikheid :peep:

Yeah this is just awesome. I've got a plan for a small shelf layout and I have plans of doing the DCC++ stuff. I could use the Digitrax stuff from the main layout, but I don't want to have to plug and unplug. Besides nerd's gatta nerd. :stir:
Just for interest, could you post links to the shields that you ordered?
Cheers,
Niel

Thanks Woody,
Hmm for R163 (plus a bit on the side) one can have a full on working DCC system. That's just awesome. :thumb:
