Title: Fitting DCC to N Scale ICE 3
Post by: LooVille on June 17, 2016, 06:56:55 AM
Good Morning All,

Last year my parents went overseas to visit family in the Netherlands.
When they came back, this was my birthday present  N Scale ICE 3 from MiniTrix

So yesterday I changed the loco over to DCC.
I fitted a Digitrax  DZ126IN chip.

Quite easy to do. Loco was quite easy to open, took about 20min (yea, scared of breaking something)
Then to fit and close it all about 5min. And to program another 10min or so.

Thank you BigEd for the help with the programming, he have the USB interface for programming via a laptop.

Here is some pictures.

Nice one Evert! Nice to have good friends that have all the bits and pieces to assist.  ;D

Yes, very true. I'm clever - Evert does a lot for me and thus I try to repay him...I'm still ahead... >:D
