Hi Guys,
I haven't posted on here in toooooo long.
The reason for my absence is my work on my model railroad website, TrainTry (www.traintry.com (http://www.traintry.com)).
I created TrainTry as a resource for people new to model railroading, as well as to add value to the greater MRR community.
I would really appreciate your comments on the site, any suggested improvements, content ideas, guest posts, etc.
Anyone that has any items available to lend me that I could review on the site, ranging from Locomotives, to Starter Sets, to DCC Cabs, to general accessories; I would be most grateful.
Please let me know what you think :)
Regards,
Rick

Looking good!
Yes, I agree, the more the merrier!
On the website. I like the layout and fonts. The facebook and twitter links on the left is a little too big (might be my screen settings this side). I would hotlink the pictures on the main landing page too... Most people will click on the pictures rather than the wording.

Hey Ed,
Thanks for checking it out :)
The social share icons I'll have a look at, weird that they're oversized on your size. Mobile or PC? Browser?
The pictures on the main page are all clickable, but once again, I'll have a look based on how you were accessing it.
Thanks for the input :)

Hey, Hey Rick,
Yea site looks good.
The social media icons on the left is a bit big, but it is not too bad.
I saw that the pictures is clickable, so maybe just check out all the browsers. I used Chrome.
Other wise all good.
Now you need to take your own advice and build a layout :stir: :stir: LOL :innocent:

PC using Firefox... See picture included...

Ok, looks I was just too hurried. If I wait till all of the page loaded the pictures do have links on them - also some written wording.

Hey Ed, Evert,
Thanks for the kind words and the advice.
I resized the click targets on the left - I think it works better now.
The pictures only becoming clickable after a while is a bit of a problem for navigating through things at a decent speed. Will have to look at changing my hosting in the near future.
Thanks Guys:)
