Title: Miniatuur Wunderland
Post by: Steve Smith on February 02, 2016, 12:49:03 PM
Hi guys,

Google has done a series of street views of the HO Miniatuur Wunderland layout in Hamburg.   Click on the balloons to open the pages, select the camera location, and the camera viewing angle can be rotated and raised/lowered.

Pretty cool.

Cheers,
Steve

I don't want to hijack this thread so I start a new one where I have bought in the past and also those that I have read about on other forums.

Gerhard Dauscher himself. Colleen attracted his attention and he posed for us.

The famous Speicherstadt Hamburg. You can ask anybody and they will be able to tell you which way to go. The bus stops at the site and with the S-Bahn you have to walk 300m.

Hi there,
how about a bridge that weighs in at 39 tons for a model train layout.
As Obelix would says: " Those Germans are crazy."

The last question of every interview is "Do you have layout at home".

If "NO" then welcome at Miniatur Wunderland, you start tomorrow.

Love it.  :thumb:

Lets see how long it takes them to figure out how to get a surfer to ride the waves !

Maybe you should send them that as a suggestion.  ;D
Although I don't think anybody would ever attempt to surf Drakes Passage.
