Hey guys,
I know there were a few comments regarding software in one of the older topics, but that's a while ago.
What software do you all use for design?
So far I've played around with SCARM and Atlas's version of SCARM. It really seems to work well for me, has a huge catalogue of parts, and you can generate a parts list at the end to see what you need to get started.
What are the benefits of the other packages out there? What should I be considering?
Keep in mind I want to run HO scale.
Thanks :)
Rick

Scram being free software, so it must rank as one of the favourites. ;)
I have downloaded it to my pc, but only spent a very short time with it, so did not really try it properly.
I currently use Wintrack V4, this one you have to buy.
But I have gotten used to it and I am very comfortable with this program.
I have also got a CD from bhv software that I got included in some book that I bought in Germany.

Tried to use it, but my IT skills are not up to it. :lamer:
Cheers.

Rick, there's also this one - I used it many moons ago. Was not too difficult to pick up.

Its free but no MacOSX version so I stopped using it...

Thanks BigEd, will have a look at it and see how it compares to SCARM.
