Title: Home layout of GlynnC
Post by: BigEd on September 16, 2015, 02:42:15 PM
I have last visited this layout back in 2007. By then the room was used for furniture storage. I am so happy to report that not only are the trains running, but things have changed and improved. Well done Glynn! :thumb:

Wow, that's a big one. Those trains are actually going somewhere not just round a track. I like. :thumb:
Be careful with sunlight in the layout room, plastic can age prematurely and get very brittle.

Thanks capeklr and LooVille  :)

I must say I am doing operations at the moment (On my own) and really enjoying it. Just ironing all the gremlins out before having others over for an op session.

As for the light, yes! I actual only really open the blinds when I am in there. The two main big blinds dont realy see sun on them because they are south facing, the others East. The biggest problem I had once when leaving the blinds open was track expansion . Man does Peco track expand when in the sun

Cheers guys.
